Playa
Pelada is a beautiful
stretch of white beach a short walk from our front door. Along the
beach you will
find small rocky outcrops, where you can stand in the sea spray. There
are
also several caves that have been hollowed out of the rock outcrops by
the waves.

Within
walking distance of the
house you will find Panchos grocery market and liquor store. Along the
beach
are several bars and restaurants, including Rancho Suizo, the Red Lion
Pub,
La Luna Restaurant and Olga's Bar.
The Nosara Biological Reserve is a few minutes' walk, where you can
enjoy
hiking and birdwatching, as well as kayaking near the mouth of the Rio
Nosara.
Although many amenities are very close to the house, you may want to be
more
mobile - there are quite a few choices in Nosara. You can rent
bicycles,
ATVs, golf carts, or cars.
